As I considered a campaign for Attorney General, I met with hundreds of Arkansans. Their message to me was clear. Arkansans want an Attorney General who will protect our liberty from an overreaching federal government, protect our children from predators, and protect our tax dollars from fraud.
The federal government is slowly creeping in on state authority and individual liberty, and my first priority as your Attorney General will be to defend the Constitution and protect the liberty of all Arkansans. I’ll go to court to protect our Second Amendment rights, defend state laws limiting abortion, uphold our constitutional definition of traditional marriage, protect your right to choose your own doctor, uphold private property rights, and defend the rights of small business owners.
The Attorney General’s office will be actively involved in educating our children about online safety, child abduction, and runaway issues.
I view this office as critically important to defending the Constitution, especially the Tenth Amendment that grants broad powers to states and individuals. As such, I’ll take an aggressive stance in defending our system of federalism and protecting your individual liberties.
When I take the oath of office, I’ll swear to “support the Constitution”. You can count on me to uphold my oath by fighting to rein in Washington while protecting state authority and individual liberty. I would be very grateful for your support and your vote.
